“ Congratulations Joanna, it looks so beautiful and so well designed too. As a chef I never stop learning and love the seasonal chapters and wine advice too.”

“There are some cracking recipes in it and they all look surprisingly simple to prepare with really impressive end results – but no never-ending lists of ingredients or complicated techniques. I am a big fan of the Uvedoble gastrobar and will definitely be giving their pil-pil prawns mini kebab a whirl. I’ve been going to the labyrinthine El Pimpi for decades and was thrilled to have their recipe for salmorejo. The gazpacho with roast peach and cured crayfish from the Aire gastrobar sounds delicious too – I would never have thought of that combination myself but it’s an easy recipe and looks very fancy. Reading this book has made me want to return to Malaga as soon as possible but meanwhile I am going to get into that happy Mediterranean groove by having a go at the recipes.”

“The city of Malaga is somewhere I love to travel to eat well. This great little cookbook shares the recipes of some of my favourite haunts and I’m delighted to get my hands on them to attempt to make in my own kitchen. One thing for sure is that it’s unlikely they would have shared these recipes if I’d asked! So, thank you Guide to Malaga. Highly recommended for any foodie dreaming about delicious Malaga.”
