This iconic venue in El Palo might have the same name as El Pimpi in the centre of town, but be prepared for a very different experience. Frequented mostly by locals who are happy to queue to get in, this is the place for fresh seafood and fish in the evenings, all to a soundtrack of traditional Spanish copla singing. It’s standing room only and even then it’s a squash, but this is about as authentic Malaga comes. Dishes from €8
