Traditional home cooking gets a very modern twist from chef Dani Carnero (also the chef at La Cosmopolita) in the form of three tasting menus from €50 to €75. Fresh local produce dominates but not necessarily in a form you’d recognise. The tripe, for example, is cod, beans come with carbonara and Iberian pork gets a palo cortado marinade and a truffle Chantilly side. All three menus can be paired to perfection or let the maître d advise you on the right wine. Service is first class in this small venue with elegant but simple décor.
