Huelin Suites

If you’re looking for self-catering accommodation outside the Old Town, these new apartments may suit. Located in the Huelin district to the west of Malaga city centre, Huelin Suites comprise of eight apartments in a five-storey building (with lift access).

The apartment building dates from 2020, so is airy and modern, a vibe mirrored in the interiors. Some apartments have private terraces and sea views.

Huelin Suites is in the Huelin neighbourhood, once home to Malaga’s first working class residents and some serious industry (don’t miss the tall chimneys from this era). It’s now one of the most authentic local districts, full of traditional shops, a great market and lots of excellent eateries.

Huelin itself is pretty built-up, but Huelin Park provides a lovely green space – check out the children’s playparks – and the western seafront is also nearby. Malaga Old Town is a 40-minute walk away, but you can easily go in by bus (No 3 or 7; allow 20 minutes at least) or the Metro (Line 2; allow 10 minutes).

The eight apartments come with different configurations and interior design. All are spacious and come fully equipped. They range from one to three bedrooms, offering accommodation for up to 8 people. As a result, these self-catering apartments in Malaga are a good choice for families and groups of friends.

All apartments come with:

  • Hot and cold air-conditioning
  • Wifi
  • Fully-equipped kitchen
  • Free laundry service.
